President, Terex Aerial Work Platforms

Matt Fearon has been president of Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) since January 2013. Before his current role he was vice president and managing director of Terex’s AWP Americas business, and prior to that he led the AWP business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia.
Matt has been with Terex AWP and Genie for 20 years and brings more than 25 years of industry experience and leadership to his role.
Before joining Genie he held engineering positions at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and Hercules Aerospace. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in management from Renselear Polytechnic Institute. He has been a member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) since 2005.
