Karin joined Off-Highway Research China when it was formed in 2003, and where she is now Director of RTesearch. Based in Beijing, her work focuses on the Chinese construction equipment industry, with a particular specialisation in the hydraulic excavator and wheeled loader sectors.

Her close relationships with, and deep understanding of, the leading domestic and international construction equipment manufacturers combine to make her one of the industry’s leading analysts.

Karin attended Nanjing University and the University of New Mexico, before graduating from HEC Montreal with an MBA. Following a year as a Visiting Scholar at the Alliance for Transportation Research at the University of New Mexico, where she conducted a range of transport-related projects, she joined the China Academy of Transportation Sciences. Here she proposed policy and regulatory recommendations and programmes for the Ministry of Transport, P.R. China.
